About Canby Volleyball Club
Club History & Philosophy
The Canby Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization. Our purpose is to teach, encourage, promote, and educate all aspects of the game of volleyball among participants with the primary aim of developing fundamental skills, self confidence, self worth, and team cooperation in an atmosphere that is safe, competitive and fun without undo stress or pressure.
CVC was started in 1996 and serves young women in and around the Canby area who are between the ages of 9 and 18 [typically in grades 4-12]. CVC strives to provide both developmental and high-quality training for those young women who may aspire to excel at the high school and college levels.
Club coaches consist of current or former college and high school coaches and current or former college and club players.
The Canby Volleyball Club provides beginning and advanced training opportunities for young women from December to May. Teams may compete in local, state and national tournaments depending on level of skill, available tournaments, and schedule availability.
We have a club commitment to players first and winning second. We invite you, your daughter and her friends to join other young women who endeavor to be the best they can be in volleyball; including developing their physical and mental skills, contributing to health and fitness, and embracing the concept of team first and individual second.
